4. The bar chart below shows the average monthly maximum temperatures for three Australian cities in the year 2016.
The chart demonstrates the average maximum temperature for every month in Melbourne, Darwin and Perth in 2016.
Overall, it is obvious that similar patterns about the temperature can be noticed in Melbourne and Perth in 2016, with the lowest temperature in July and the highest one in Jan. However, there were two temperature peaks in this year in Darwin.
As we can see, the mean temperature in Darwin remained relatively stable in 2016. The average monthly maximum temperature was over 30 Celsius degrees, even in the winter in Australis, which are June (30.6 Celsius degrees) and July (30.5 Celsius degrees). In this year, the hottest month was November, with the mean maximum temperature of 33.3 Celsius degrees.
On the other hand, Melbourne and Perth witnessed a similar trend in weathers. Although the average temperature in Perth was higher than that in Melbourne for the twelve months, the average monthly maximum temperature for the two cities was below 30 Celsius degrees. There were always the same changes in the two places. In Melbourne and Perth, the lowest temperatures were in July, respectively with 13.4 Celsius degrees and 18.8 Celsius degrees, while the highest ones in January (25.8 in Melbourne and 28.1 in Perth).
