From an overall perspective, one of the most outstanding features is that there was a significant difference in the percentage of money spent on households. Actually, the figures given for the percentage of housing in Malaysia accounted for the largest one among five chosen selected groups, with 34%. Nevertheless, heath care was found to be the lowest one. These figures comprised of only 6% in Japan and 3% in Malaysia.
Surprisingly, the rate of housing made up the highest one in Malaysia, with 34%, whereas the remaining figures for housing use ranged 21% in Japan. Conversely, the percentage of other goods and services in Japan seemed to be the highest, constituting 29%, whereas the figures in Malaysia comprised of 26% - stood at the third.
It is interesting to note that money spent for food stood at the second both two countries, with 27% in Malaysia and 24% in Japan. The number of transport in Japan was found to be constituting 20%, being significantly higher two times than that of Malaysia (10%)
