The table and the bar chart show how many percentages of people using the means of transport in Houston, Taxes, their average age, and the amount of CO2 be created from each type of transport.
It can be seen from the table, the most popular form of transport is the car for people who use car without passenger while cyclists and walkers take the less percent. On the other hand, people who quite like travelling on trains or buses have the highest average age of commuters. As in shown in the bar chart, car causes more pollution than that of combination of other means of transport
Looking more closely in the table, we can see that 48% of travellers who go alone use car for your trip and 11% made by people who share a car. By contrast, only 4% people that choose cycle or walk. Public transports are the second most common forms of transport are used to get to work with 37%. In details, young people love to walk or cycle to reach their work with the average age of travellers is 39 while commuters using public transport are, at 47, on average three or four years older than people using cars at 43 or 44.
According to the bar chart, the highest one comes from the car which is driven alone that over 0.3 kilograms per person per kilometre. People going together have fewer CO2 with nearly 0.1 kilograms per person per kilometre. Bus or train spends around from 0 to 0.05 while cyclists and pedestrians do not release CO2 emission in the air.
Overall, we can see car is the most popular vehicles and cause more pollution than others means of transport.
