From an overall perspective, all subgroups experienced upward trend except for unemployed female, which leveled off after 20-year period. Nonetheless, this category still executed the largest amount of housework and was of 6 to 7 times higher than that of men with full-time occupation, who only did a stroke of work.
In 1985, jobless women spent 7 hours a day for housework, after 10 years that figure had slightly dropped to 6. 5, or thereabouts prior to rose to 7 again at the end of the period. Womankind with avocations also witnessed the same pattern with the length of times recorded at 5. 5, 4 and 6 relatively.
