The bar chart below shows the number of students who chose certain university subjects in 2005.

The bar chart reveals the number of student who chose certain university subject in 2005. There are various subjects like Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Languages, Humanities, The Arts (Art, Music, Drama), Literature, and Law. In general, the most popular subject among female studenst is Social Sciences (almost 25 thousand) and for male students is Sciences (a little over 20 thousand). Interestingly, subjects such as Mathematics, Literature, Law are acttractive to the boys with over 40 thousand students but for girls might be boring since there are less than 25 thousand students chose those to study. In contrast, the number of choice for Languages as well as The Art in female students is approximately 27 thousand and in male it is poorly low (less than 5 thousand). However there is a subject that the rate of both students are equally and it is Humanities with slightly over 10 thousand each. In summary, the chart have clearly showed us the disparity between male and female in choosing university subject.
