The bar chart illustrates the number of people attending the course at an adult education centre in the year 2009. while the pie chart shows the percentage about the ages of these course. The numbers of women attending the course are tend to be much higher than the numbers of men(except in sculpture). With the lead in the amount of people, language is the course womens attend the most with 40 people , following is painting (30 people),drama(10 people) and sculpture(about 5 people). In the other hand mens seem to be less interested in these courses. The numbers of men attending drama and language course are half as the numbers of women. But they attend twice as much as womens and approximately 25 people in painting coures.
We can easily see that the people attending these evening courses are mostly at the age of 50 or over with 46% in total, age of 40 to 49 are 26%,age of 30-39 years old are 16%,the young generation from 20-29 years old are 11% and aged under 20 are only 5%.It seems to be not so many young participants under the age of 20 have interest in the course compare to a huge amount of participants over 50.Overall the two charts show that most of the people attending the course are women and at high age since this is an adult education centre.
