The bar chart compares the percentage of boys and girls of 5to 14 yrs in 5 different activities such as (skate boarding/rollblading , bike riding, watching tv/vedios , electronic /computer games, art and craft in Australia.
Overall, both boys and girls have equal interest in watching tv / videos. Boys selected more leisure activity. Boys selected more leisure activity than girls in the given period. The least boys engaged activity was art and craft whereas girls participated the least for skate boarding.
According to the data given, both boys and girls had a clear dominency over watching TV /vedioes that is same as (100%) for the same. For art and craft girls have a clear control over boys in participating leisure activities.
On the other hand, an opposite trend seen it was the boys who contribute more spare time activities (80%) for electronic and computer games as opposed to girls nearly (60%) for the same. Likewise, the highest percentage of boys participated in bike riding that is( 70%) higher than the girls by 5to 14 years. Similarly, boys spend their leisure time by skate boarding more at (40%) which is as aganist to girls who spend their spare time for the same.
