The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010

The bar chart compares the percentages of male and female different age groups having done exercise regularly in Australia in 2010.

Overall, it can be seen that the proportion of women who did an activity was higher than that of men.

Most women did exercises during their adult years (between 45-54) while most men did sport activities when they were young (between 15-24). The biggest difference in percentage amoung men and women was between the ages 35 to 44 while the amounf ef exercise done during the same period was almost equal between 65 and over years old males and females.
Data shows that participation level into physical activities of women and men who are between 25-34 old was 48.9% and 42.2% respectively. Between 45 to 54 there was nearly %10 gap amoung women and men .

Furthermore, the only age group where men had more sports than women was between 15 and 24. Between 35 to 44 there was a considerable difference which was almost 13% and females took over (overtook) that of men with 52.2% in terms of engagement in sports training. For the ones who were 65 and more, there was a fractional gap with exactly %0.4 amoung women and men.
