Overall, In the age groups above 25 women performed more physical tasks regularly. Whereas, men below 24 were more active physically compared to women of that age. They were also the highest performers in terms of percentage in men. While, In women age group of 45 to 54 topped the list.
Firstly, the percentage of men and women doing physical work was almost 53% and 48% respectively between age of 15 to 24. These changes massively in the next age group with more women active than men. There were about 49% women in this age group performing physical activity regularly. On the other hand, males were just above 42%, nearly 6% less than females. The situation of males applying physical efforts was even worse in the next age group. Its percentage was below 40% least among men in all age group. Nonetheless, women in this group had figure of 52.5%.
In the following two age groups there was no major fluctuations in percentage of women. It was just around 53% in both these age groups. Nearly, 43 and 45 out of 100 males in the group of 45 to 54 and 55 to 64 respectively were physically active. Both males and females above age of 65 had about similar proportion in physical work ranging around 47%.
