Overall, it can be seen that women were more active than their male counterparts within the different age groups. Women between the ages 35 to 54 were the most active groups while men, mainly age 15 to 24 were the most active amongst all the age groups of men.
Generally, amongst the men, it is clear that the level of activity reduced within the age groups with 52.8% of 15 to 14 being the most active to 39.5% of 35 to 44 being the least active. However, regular physical work out starts increase amongst the middle age (45 to54) which accounts for 43.1% to reach 47.7% of the elderly (65 and above).
On the other hand, the level of activity amongst women was increasing with age from 47.7% of young adults (15 to 24) to peak at 53% of middle-aged women (45 to 54). Then, it starts to decline slowly with increase in age with 47.1% of senior citizens (65 and over) who did exercise frequently.
