With regards to men, those ageing from 15 to 24 were the most active in regular physical exercises with a percentage of 52.8%. Followed by them were the groups of 65 and over and 55 to 64, which had a proportion of 46.7 and 45.1% respectively. Two groups had a similar rate nearing 42% (25 to 34 and 45 to 54), while males between 35 to 44 were less active in physical activities with an amount below 40%.
Concerning women, those ranging from 45 to 54 ranked first in regular exercises with a percentage of 53.3%. Two groups showed a proportion around 53% (35 to 44 and 55 to 64) accompanied by two nearing 47% (15 to 24 and over 64). Finally, females under 25 were less frequent in physical exercises, with a participation of 47.7%.
