The bar chart below demonstrates the percentage of government spending on roads and transport in 4 countries in the years 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005.
As can be seen on the chart, the amount of money to spent on road and transport in Italia and Portugal were larger than UK and USA over the period shown.
The highest column was Portugal started with 26% in 1990. And declined steadily at 28% after 5 years. There were 23% of money were fork out of streets and transport in 1990. Decline was inevitable when at 20% in 1995. The quantity of money were spending by government about from 10% to 9% throughout 5 years. Lower than that on USA when began with 11% at first and decreased slightly 10% in 1995.
In 2000, Italia increased significantly around 23%. This country were first in transport infrastructure spending among the four countries on the chart. While the amount of money at Portugal for communication infrastructure constantly dropped down from 25% to 20% throughout 2 years (2000 and 2005). In UK, the figure of government spending on roads and transport climbed considerably at roughly 23% in 2000. At the same time, USA also rose to some 27%. After 5 years, USA continuously grown up at 15%. It is the different with USA, 3 others countries on the chart all fell sharply at approximately 19% for Italia, 20% for Portugal and under 10% for UK alternately.
