In the following decade, the contribution of agriculture began to decrease and came to approximately 54%, on the other hand, industry, and services started to rise and reached 21 and 23% respectively.
In the next two decades, agriculture drifted to 31 percent, while services went over 40%. Though first three decades, 1960 to 1980, the industrial sector contribution increased gradually to 25%, in 1990, it decreased slightly to 23%.
