The given chart illustrates the amount of electricity produced and consumed by ten countries in 2014. Overall, the production and consumption of electricity in each country were equal. There is a wide gap between the proportion of generating and consuming electricity of China, United State and the rest countries in the top ten. China has the biggest amount of electricity generated and used while Korea has the smallest, about 5300 kWh and 450 kWh respectively. United Stated is the second of the top ten countries producing and using electric energy the most, about 4000 kWh of which the figure is about 4 times more than that of Russia. The generating and using rate of electric energy of France, Brazil and Canada are on the same scale, which is approximately 530 kWh. On the same scale of biggest countries in Asia, Japan produced and used about 80 times more than Korea did.
