Following United States is Russia, which its utilization and consumption of electricity were about four times lower than United States. It only produced 1057 billion kWh and used 1038 billion kWh. After Russia, there are 7 more countries that generated and used electricity below 1000 billion kWh. They are Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany, and Korea Rep. Among those countries, Korea Rep was the least country to produce and consume electricity in 2014. It only produced 485.1 billion kWh and consumed 449.5 kWh.
All of those countries had more production than consumption of electricity in 2014, except for Germany. Germany, on the 9th position, consumed 582.5 billion kWh, while it only produced 526.6 billion kWh.
