Overall, it can be seen that China had the greatest amount of production as well as consumption of electricity in the year 2014. Whereas the Korea Republic has the least amount of production and consumption of electricity in the same year. Every nation has produced more electricity than consuming besides Germany.
China has produced a whopping 5,398 billion kWh of electricity in the year 2014. This is the most electricity produced by any nation. China also stands first in consuming the most electricity that is 5,322 billion kWh. In the case of the United State, they had produced 4099 billion kWh and consumed 3866 billion kWh. For Russia, the creation and use of electricity are almost the same which account for just above 1000 billion kWh.
Germany is the only nation in which production is less than consumption in the year 2014. Germans have produced 5266 billion kWh and consumed 5825 billion kWh. Whereas the Korean Republic was the least producing (485 billion kWh) and consuming (449 billion kWh) nation in the top 10 countries.
