The bar chart shows the number of times per week (in 1000s), over five weeks, that three computer packages were downloaded from the internet.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Information on the frequency of weekly downloads of three software modules is provided as a bar chart. The data reveals discernible patterns in the number of downloads over the course of five weeks.

Overall, the ActiveX module is the most frequent retrieved package, followed by the second popular module Java, and the least frequent downloaded package Net. General trends that can be observed are for one the gradual increase in number of downloads for ActiveX and Java, and second, a mixed pattern for the Net module.

The Net computer package has been obtained just short of 40,000 times in the first week, then downloads steadily decreased until the third week to below 20,000 downloads. In the two consecutive weeks, however, downloads surged to 40,000 and about 50,000, respectively.

Nonetheless, more popular packages were the Java and ActiveX modules, whose figures show initial download rates of about 45,000 and 70,000 in the order stated. In the final week Java’s download rate had gradually increased to a little over 80,000. Except for the fourth week, where ActiveX bumped back from about 110,000 to 100,000 downloads, it reached its maximum download figure in the fifth week with slightly over 120,000 downloads.
