According to the first chart, in 1995, the house prices in England and its capital city were about 130 thousand and 200 thousand respectively. In the following 8 years, the average expenditure in England slightly increased to 200 thousand. The figure for London experienced a sharp growth, from 200000 to about 420000.
In 2013, in others areas of the UK namely Midlands, North and South East, North and South West, the average house expenses were lower than in London. Specifically, the lowest level was 100000 in North East, which were four times lower than that of London. The house prices in South East was higher than all mentioned regions, which was 320000 pounds but still 80000 pounds lower compared to London’s figure.
