The Bar graph bellow shows the Expenditure in pence per week on fast food items by income groups in the UK. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.
The chart illustrates the budget on three different kinds of fast foods by three income groups at UK in 1990.
Overall, it is evident that there were differences between the money spent on fast foods among three groups and the low income group tended to spend the smallest expenditure on fast foods.
In term of hamburger, high income group spent the largest money on it, at 43 pence per week, followed by average income group which spent 33 pence per week on hamburger. The lowest expenditure on hamburger was belonged to low income group whose spending was only 17 pence per week. There was a similar trend of expenditure on pizza. The spending of high income group was 19 pence per week, higher than that of average income group and low income group which spent only 13 and 18 pence per week on pizza, respectively.
The budget on fish and chips saw a slight difference. Average income group spent exactly 25 pence per week on fish and chips, which was the highest budget. The spending of high income group on fish and chips was a bit lower, at 18 pence per week. The low income group was still the group having the lowest budget on it, at only 8 pence per week
