In general, there was an increase in a large number of Korean and Japanese visited Sydney whereas these other figures fall down over the 4 years.
During the period from 1997 to 2000, there was a significant increase in the number of travellers from Japan, from about 680,000 to 780,000. At this point, the figure stood at the top in the number of visitors came from Sydney, Australia. Meanwhile, this was a slight decrease in New Zealand tourist numbers, from around 650,000 to 610,000.
As for the number of visitors came from Korea over the 3 years, remaining stable before it went up considerably, approximately 250,000 in 2000. On the other hand, the number of tourists came from cities including the United Kingdom, the United States and Singapore stayed the same their level before falling down over the 4 years.
In conclusion, it could be seen from the graph there was a steady rise in the huge number of international visitors came to Sydney, Australia where took place The Olympic Games in September 2000
