The bar chart compares how many people visiting a cinema on weekdays in a European nation from 2003 to 2007
Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that there were only small fluctuations in people's preference of which day to go to the cinema over the examined period. Besides, People still liked watching in three weekends.
In 2003, 40% of people went to cinemas on Saturday, compared to 30% on Friday and Sunday each. On the other days, the percentage of movie-goers was higher on Tuesday, at 20%, while the lowest figure can be seen on Monday, at 10%.
Over the four years ensuing, the proportion of people going to the cinema on the weekends increased slightly to 45% and 35% for Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Similarly, the amount of people watching a movie at the cinema on Monday and Thursday also rose mildly about 3%. By contrast, fewer cinema-goers on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the figure falling to around 19% and nearly 9%, respectively. Finally, the rate of movie-goer choosing to go to the cinema remained fairly unchanged at 30% for 5 years.
