The chart illustrates the percentage of sports which were played by male and female of New Zealand in 2002. Overall, the uppermost of sports is netball that more than 25% women in that country played it. In contrast, the lowest percentages of sports also occurred in netball which just less than 5% males played it.

On the other hand, the second supreme percentages is soccer which it nearly 25% of men played it. Furthermore, swimming was positioned as the third rank that more than 20% woman learned it.

Moreover, while there are a significant gap between the number of male and female in cricket, athletics, martial arts, netball, soccer, swimming, as well as other sports, the number of male and female in basketball and tennis lean to balance nearly.

Finally, man had dominated in cricket, martial arts, basketball, tennis, soccer, and other sports while athletics, netball, and swimming were dominated by male.
