The chart illustrates the number of people who used various social networking sites in Canada in the year 2014 and 2015. This report will evaluate the data given.
Overall, most of the people visited one networking site whereas the ‘four sites’ category had the least number of users among all social site users. The tendency of using social media also decreased within the given time period.
In terms of people without social accounts, the percentage were 22 and 21 in the year 2014 and 2015 respectively. About 36% of the people visited a single social website in 2014, however, this figure decreased to a low of 28% in 2015. Surprisingly, the ‘five sites’ category also experienced a growth which accounted for 4% in the last year.
People who were active on two social sites increased from the proportion of 23% to 24% in a single year. Similarly, percentage of users in the three and four sites category also rised sharply which was about 16% and 8% respectively.
