» Write at least 150 words.

The chart indicates the proportion of British people who donated money to charity by five multiple age ranges in two years 1990 and 2010.
As can be seen from the chart, people between the ages of 36 and 50 donated the most money in 1990, and donors from 18 to 25 in 2010 raised the least amount. There were several notable fluctuations in two years. Similarly, the ages in 1990 raised more money than those in 2010 except for people from 51 to 65 and above 65, yet not much difference.
Specifically, in 1990, there was an upward trend in donating money to charity among ages. There are more than 15% of people between 18 and 25 and peaked more 40% with those from 36 to 50. Nevertheless, the ratio gradually declined to more than 30%.
Moreover, in 2010, there was a rapid growth in raising money voluntarily in the age group from 18 to 65. Although philanthropists aged above 65 raised less than those who donated most, it was not significant. There was only approximately 5% (between about 40% and 35%).
