The bar graph illustrates the different problems faced by the residents of some main cities in UK during the year 2008.
Overall, it can be said that health services was a serious issue in most of the cities, followed by education and training. However, air pollution remained a minor problem.
On one hand, in the cities of Newcastle, Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and London more than 50% of population reported to have faced the health related problems. The highest proportion being in Belfast and Cardiff, accounting for just a little below 60%. Moreover, issues of education and training stood slightly above 50% for the cities of Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and London.
On the other hand, there were only few cases pertaining to the environment, accounting for less than 10% for most of the cities in question, including Newcastle, Belfast, Birmingham and Glasgow. Nevertheless, in Cardiff, Manchester and London it was reported to be at around 12 to 15%, which is slightly greater than the other areas.
