The bar chart illustrates the number of free time allocated in a week grouped by genders and employment categories from 1998 to 1999.
Overall, hours of relaxation time which consumed by retired and unemployed citizens are higher than the rest groups and men spent more time for leisure activities than women.
According to the unemployed and retired categories, they shared the same statistic with over 80 hours of leisure time by males and about 78 hours by females. It is the highest number of spare time spent on compared to the rest categories. Housewives had roughly 50 hours a week on leisure activities which is more than employed women but less than the unemployed and retired women.
Regarding the group of full-time employees, once again the figure reflected the fact that men spent more leisure time than women in the period of 1998 and 1999, respectively 42 hours and approximately 38 hours per week. Noticeably in the employed part-time status, women allocated nearly 40 hours for spare time, however there were no statistic demonstrated for males.
