Overall, unemployed and retired men and women enjoyed the largest amount of spare time. In addition, the given number of hours spent on relaxation per week by men was always higher than that by women, while there was no data for males in the section of part-time workers and housewives.
The amount of leisure time enjoyed by jobless men was the highest figure in the chart with approximately 85 hours per week, followed by retired males with about 84 hours. Meanwhile, with roughly 79 hours, the unemployed and retired women bore a resemblance to each other in terms of weekly free time. Full-time male and female workers took the lowest quantity of spare time with only 43 and 38 hours per week respectively.
Regarding the other figures, the housewives spent 50 hours per week relaxing whereas the quantity of weekly leisure time taken by part-time female workers was lower, about 40 hours.
