Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The bar graph compares four Mediterranean countries with how they spend money on six various products. The study is measured in British pound.
Overall, it can be seen that people in Great Britain spend more money on all indicated products while Germans spend the least. It is also clear that people in Britain and France buy photographic films the most among all four countries.
In detail, the highest expense British consumers make is for photographic films at 170 thousand. This is followed by compact discs, perfumes and toys at around 160 to 165 thousand each while 155 thousand is spent on tennis rackets and personal stereos. France has a partly similar record where the buyers’ expense on photographic films, compact discs and perfumes range around 157 to 165 thousand. Perfumes and personal stereos have an identical figure at about 147 thousand while 145 thousand goes to tennis rackets. By comparison, both British and French citizens choose to pay for photographic films more than tennis rackets by a difference of 10 thousand.
Italians prefer buying perfumes and tennis rackets the most at 155 thousand while they pay at about 152 thousand for toys. Exactly 150 thousand is spent on compact discs and personal stereos which is half that of the figure for British consumers who buy photographic films. Meanwhile, Germans spend the least on all products where the amount of money spent is around 145 to 150 thousand.
