The given line graph highlights statistical data about alterations in three varied types of crime in an English city namely Manchester during a decade from 2003 to 2012.

Overall, burglary registered a sharp decline, while car theft and robbery experienced insignificant changes. Car theft remained on top in the given period.

The rate of robbery saw a noticeable rise showing nearly 950 in 2005, whereas car theft witnessed a slight drop to over 2250 in that period. The figure for robbery started going up from 500 in 2008 to nearly 700 in 2010. Likewise, the rate of car theft rose to about 2600 in the year 2010. At the end of the given period, the crime numbers of robbery and car theft reached around 600 and 2850 respectively.

Burglary peaked at about 3700 in 2004 before dropping substantially to 1100 in 2008. Then, it started growing gradually to just below 1500 next year. Starting from that time, burglary rate remained virtually the same with minor changes.
