The pie chart represents the type of energy production in France for two years 1995 and 2005.
As the diagram illustrates, the energy production of France is mainly generated from four sources, namely Coal, Gas, Petro and Nuclear, rest of the energy is produced by other means.
In 1995, three major sources consisted the energy production of the country by almost 30 percent. To be more precise, the first place belongs to coal with 29.80 percent share, followed by gas and petro, respectively with 29.63 and 29027 percentages. In addition, 6.4 percent of the energy is generated from nuclear power, and the remaining 4.9 percent is resulted from different sources.
While in 2005, the coal and gas energies kept their proportions and ranks nearly constant at 30.93 and 30.31 percent, by a slight increase, the share of petro energy is reduced to 19.55 percent which led to a rise in other energy forms. So that the nuclear power grew to 10.10 percent and other kinds of energy comprised a share of 9.10 percent, although all energy forms maintained their previous ranks, despite small alternations in their percentages.
