As can be seen, both LaGuardia and Newark airports experienced an upward trend in the visitor quantity, while John F.Kennedy airport followed a fluctuating trend. Another point is that LaGuardia was by far the most popular airport at the end of the period.
In 1995, approximately 35 million passengers chose to traveled via LaGuardia, which is a more considerable number than other two airports. This airport continued to show its increasing popularity, when, despite being surpassed in 1997, it was still the most widely used airport at the end. The figure for LaGuardia instantly rose and peaked at nearly 69 million passengers in 2000, doubling its own figure at the beginning.
In marked contrast, Newark was the least chosen airport in 1995, which attracted only about 15 millions visitors. Despite being the least popular of three airport over the period, Newark still witnessed a surge in visitor number, which was doubled its starting quantity in 2000. John F.Kennedy airport was the second-popular eventually, although its figure fluctuated and reached a peak of nearly 45 million visitors, higher than that of LaGuardia in 1997.
