The given bar chart represents the three major airports (John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark) in New York city, which were preferred by travellers from 1995 to 2000.
Overall, the number of travellers using John F. Kennedy airport fluctuated between 1995 and 2000. However, in case of LaGuardia airport, travellers increased by a significant margin whereas visitors in Newark airport were increased by more than three times.
It is clear that, in 1995, number of visitors were more in LaGuardia airport accounting almost 35 millions as compared to John F. Kennedy and Newark airport at around 25 millions and approximately 15 millions respectively. By the end of 1997, number of travellers using John F. Kennedy airport overtook the travellers in LaGuardia airport by a margin of almost 4 millions whereas users of Newark airport remained relatively low at about 38 millions.
From the year 1998 to 2000, travellers using LaGuardia airport increased significantly, they were about 45 millions in 1998 and almost 70 million in 2000. However, visitors of John F. Kennedy airport fluctuated from almost 35 million to 45 millions in the same period. Surprisingly, number of travellers remained exactly same at Newark airport from 1998 to 2000.
