Overall, working adults in this particular country spent most of the time in day for working in 1958, while the figure for traveling to work was the lowest position in the same period. After 50 years, the relationship between working and sleeping witnessed a significant change.
In 1958, most adult used the time in day at work, at around 33% whereas sleeping recorded at the second rank, with 32%. Moreover, the number of people spending time going out was 19%, twice as much as those who used time for relaxing at home with family. Besides, traveling at work was the activity that took up the least percentage of time spent in a day.
In 2008, the average percentage of working section increased slightly from 33% to 42%, while sleeping saw a downward trend in this period, just 25%. Less time was spent going out with family and friends, but more time was allocated to relaxing at home. Finally, more people spent time for traveling at home and other the percentage of those who used their time for hobbies remained unchanged after a long time.
