Overall, what stand out from the graph is that while the popularity of adult fiction books grew over the period in question, and that children fiction remainly high throughout of the number of biography book intrusted fell sharply. Travel book figure. Travel figure saw an increase followed by decrease.
With regard to children's fiction and biography starting figures were roughly identical at 20 and 15 percent sold respectively. However, where as, the former climbed to reached at the 25 percent in 2012, before levelling of for remainder of the period, the letter peaked at 8 percent and then slipped to half of this figure in 2012.
Turning to journey book, travel book stayed consistently popular, after 2 decade figure remainly between 1972 and 1992 through the period. Other's popularity was nearly as high as travel books in first half of the decade studied, with the number of adult fiction rising from 20 percent to 25, but 1972 to 2012 saw books number crash to 2 percent, a figures which had not changed by 2012.
