The bar chart illustrates the proportion of female and male educators in six various kinds of educational system in the UK in 2010.
A short glance at the bar chart reveals that the number of female teachers has decreased with an increase in educational level. At lower educational levels, women had a greater share of teaching post than men. For example, the percentage of men in the pre-school was less than 5%. For primary schools, the situation was almost identical and more than 90 per cent of teachers were women.
The range of male and female teachers for young children were approximately equal. In collage, half of the lecturers were men and half the other women. For university, the number of male instructors was more than female and it is near twice that of women.
Overall, women had more opportunities to educate children. On the other hand, in universities, male instructors were more numerous.
