Overall, it is observed that in all other subjects except Art and Design, female participation is greater than that of males. Moreover, people prefer studying English language and literature as opposed to History and Archeology and philosophy being the least preferred fields of study.
Philosophy is the only subject where the difference between male and females is the largest with the former leading by 50 units. This is then followed by Linguistics and History and Archeology with females dominating by around 40 and 30 units respectively.
