The chart illustrates the study about people's coffee and tea purchase and consumption habits in the major five cities of Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart.
Overall, percentage of residents prefer more going to cafe's for having coffee and tea than buying instant coffee or fresh coffee during last 4 weeks.
To begin with, fresh coffee bought by the citizens in Sydney is around 44% which is comparatively higher than all other cities mentioned. Significant fall of almost 43% to 34% are shown by the cities of Melbourne and Brisbane, it remain constant in Adelaide around 34% then it gradually raised almost to 36% in Hobart.
Secondly, citizens purchasing instant coffee during last four weeks are fluctuating between cities. Purchasing rate in Sydney is around 45%. It significantly increased to 46% and 53% in the cities of Melbourne and Brisbane. Although Adelaide has slight drop by 50%, city of Hobart shows gradual increase in rate by almost 54%.
Lastly, residents of almost all cities prefer cafe's for coffee and tea. In Sydney around 61% residents prefer to have tea and coffee from cafe's. City of Melbourne has almost 64% which a higher rate compare to all other countries.
