The bar chart gives information about outputs of a questionnaire which illustrate Australia people’s consuming tendency of coffee and tea in 5 different cities, namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart.
Overall, it is clear that in the most given cities, except Adelaide, cafe is the most popular way for people to drink and buy coffee and tea, by contrast, through whole five cities, the least people bought fresh coffee in last 1 month.
In Melbourne, cafe had the highest proportion of residents’ preference for having coffee and tea at around 64%, followed by Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide at approximately 63%, 61%, just over 55%, and slightly less than 50% respectively. In addition, there is nearly13% difference between Melbourne and Adelaide.
Followed the other category which ranked 3rd, ‘people bought fresh coffee in last 1 month’, it saw the least preference ratio through whole ways in all cities. It recorded highest in Sydney by around 44% , while recorded the lowest in Brisbane by around 35%.
Meanwhile, ‘bought instant coffee in last 4 weeks’ category, the second popular way to have coffee or tea reached at peak with around 53% in Brisbane unlike the figure of Sydney is just around 45%.
In addition, in those five major cities, it seems cafe is more in fashion to enjoy coffee and tea for residents. Almost more than 20% of people chose cafe rather than bought fresh coffee by themselves.
