The chart below shows the results of a survey of people who visited four types of tourist attraction in Britain in the year 1999

The pie chart illustrates the distribution of visitors to distinct types of tourist attractions in Britain in 1999 and the percentage of visits to different attractions in theme park. Overall, it is apparent that theme parks and museums with galleries were the most visited places. Moreover, almost a half of all individuals went to the blacpool pleasure beach.

According to the pie chart theme parks and museums with galleries were responsible for almost the same percentage of all visiting at around 38%. In contrast, wildlife parks and zoos were as much as four times lower than the formers. Historic houses and monuments were at over 15%, however significantly lower than the theme parks, museums and galleries.

In details, blackpool pleasure beach was the most adored tourist's place, near a half of them went there. Followed by alton towers and pleasureland that shared the similar percentage at around 17%. Interesting to note that only 10% of all visitors went to the legoland in Windsor and Chessington world of adventures, that made these attractions the least popular among people.
