Given is a table providing information about round-the-clock hours of sleeping in people involving in 5 different occupational categories in accordance with a Canadian research.

In general terms, the data suggest that people in all jobs except truck drivers are asleep from 11-12 pm to 6-7 am. Also the students have the most hours of sleeping about 8 hours among all occupations.

As regards details in the table, the students and the business executives have stable non-stop patterns of sleep which begins at 11-12 pm and lasts until 4-5 am in business executives and 6-7 am in students.

Conversely, as for full time mothers, doctors and truck driver, it can explicitly be seen that they have irregular sleep patterns. Doctors sleep the least hours at night about 5 hours with on hour of being awake in the middle. Truck drivers have the most unstable hours of sleep which consists of 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening.

To sum up, some types of occupations can adversely affect the pattern of sleeping in people.
