The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.
summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The bar graph depicts total minutes, in billions, of telephone calls, separated 3 different groups, in the UK over the period shown, 1995 to 2000. Overall, it can be seen that both international and mobiles increased for 7 years, but local phone calls stayed at a higher rate even dropped for last four years.
At the beginning of the time, in 1995, the patterns for the 3 different components were apparently different. The local calls comprised of 72 billion minutes, which was twice that of the phone calls to abroad and nations, whereas mobiles just stood under 5 minutes. Before fell back to 70 billion minutes in 2002, amount of minutes for local calls rose gradually to 90 over the first four years. The internal and external phone calls move steadily upward over the period shown. In the first year it was around 38 before increasing regularly to just over 60 billions of minutes in 2002.
According to graph said, although the rates of mobiles were the smallest amount, just fewer than 5 billion minutes, it slowly improved to 9 in 1998. In the last four years of given period minutes of all mobile calls rose dramatically to 45, becoming near to other factor.
To sum up, it is obvious that 3 different elements were clearly different in 1995, first year of period, but at the end of period all the figures became roughly same.
