The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
The chart and the table give information about a country’s revenue generated from selling different types of products abroad in 2015 and 2016, and the differences in the percentage of the values of those types compared between the latter and the former year.
Overall, it seems that most categorizations’ export value in 2016 was higher compared to 2015, with petroleum products and engineered goods valued the most. The smallest change was seen for agricultural products, while the value of textiles had by far the largest change.
In 2015, the country made over 60 million dollars for selling petroleum products, which is slightly higher than that of engineered goods. Gems and jewelry was the group with the third-highest profit (about 40 million dollars), following next was agricultural products and textiles. One year later, minimal changes were seen for the value and the positions of those product categories, with agricultural and textiles products had similar figures.
With regards to the percentage change in profit of those sections corresponding to the export earnings, the most significant change was seen for textiles export, with an addition of 15.24% compared to the previous year. The next classification with the largest addition was engineered goods and petroleum products, with 8.5% and 3% respectively. Less than one percent change was seen for agricultural products. Surprisingly, gems and jewelry were the only product types with a reduction in value after a year.
