The chart below shows the value of one country's exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.

The bar chart compares the export earnings by billion dollars in a country from 2015 to 2016. The table indicates the export growth by percentage of each category over the same period.

Petroleum products appeared to predominate in the value of exports with roughly 70 billion dollars in 2015. Although it continued leading in 2016, its growth only stood at 3 percent. The value of engineered goods was slightly less than that of petroleum products in 2015. Interestingly, the export growth of this category was up to 8.5 percent and 70 billion dollars' worth of engineered goods was exported in the following year. Gems and jewelry exports ranked third out of the categories with over 50 billion dollars in 2015. A striking point is that it was the only category decreasing 8.5 percent in export growth in 2016. The value of agriculture products exports seemed to remain constant with nearly 40 billion dollars and the percentage change in value accounting for 0.81 percent. Textiles exports was valued at roughly 35 billion dollars. However, it grew up to 15.24 percent to reach 40 billion dollars in 2016.

Generally, the figures revealed no change in order of the value of exports in five categories whereas export growth of each category represented differently. Petroleum products accounted for the largest value of exports. Textiles grew fastest over two years.
