The bar chart reveals the change in the proportion of two types of gene including female and male who overweight in Australia between 1998 and 2010.
Overall, it is evident that the rate of overweight man experienced always higher than that of female over the period. In addition, in 1980, both people who were overweight man and women saw the lowest percent, the opposite was true for these figures in 2000.
Looking at male, in 2000, exactly 70 percent was the largest point of overweight man, followed by the rate in 2010, which decreased slightly to 3 percent. By contrast, overweight male in 1980 hit the bottom, stood at under a fifth.
On the other gene, female, around 1 in every 3 was the rate of overweight women. The rates of man and women in 1990 just accounted for 50 percent and 40 percent respectively. Specially, the figures for overweight female in 2000 and 2010 were identical, which lower 20 percent by comparison with the figure of man in 2000.
