Given is the pie chart delineating the cinema-goers’ rate of five distinct age groups including those from 10 to 15, 16 to 20, 21 to 30, 31 to 45 and 55 or so in the last year of the 20th century.
It is perceptible that people aged 55 or so relished watching films in this movie theater more than the other groups while the reverse was true for those aged 31 to 45 in the year 2000.
By far the most dominant group going to the cinema was the oldest with 51%, followed by those aged 10 to 15 with 21%. Teenagers aged 16 to 20 ranked third with 15% while only 8% of people in the age group 21 to 30 preferred hitting the cinema. It seems that the 31 to 45 age group was not interested in movies when they only made up 5%.
