The chart gives information about the renewable energy rate in total supply classified into four different countries in 2000, 2004, and 2007.
Looking from an overall perspective, Norway was responsible for the highest proportion and the most significant change in the survey.
As the chart portrays, approximately 8% of total energy in AUS was from renewable sources, which showed a negligible rise in 2004 before declining to 9% in 2007. Meanwhile, in Germany, renewable energy occupied about 10% of the summaries for its origin, it boosted the level to reach 17% in the final term.
On the other hand, standing at the first position with nearly 60% in 2000, the figure of Norway increased in both 2004 and 2007, with the former had a more intense tendency. To be precise, from 2000 to 2004 and 2004-2007, two jumps of about 4% and 10% happened respectively in Norway's proportion.
In addition, Iceland witnessed its ratio fluctuated downward to contribute about 55% in 2007 from the initial percentage of 50%.
