The given chart illustrates the percentage of people being interested in six different popular sports in the United Kingdom in 1995, 2000, and 2005.
Overall, the percentage of people having enjoynable sport, which is football, was always the highest. However, the percentage of people being interested in golf was always the lowest.
The proportion of people expressing football, which was the most favourite activity, fluctuated and hit the peak at around 45% in 2000. Besides, the percentage of people being like rugby, which ranked second, gradually increased from about a third to just above 36 percent. Furthermore, the figure for golf-players, which was the lowest, slightly went up from approximately 17% in 1995 to just under 20% in 2005.
Besides, the percentage of swimming players and the percentage of people being like volleyball slowly increased from just above a quarter to just under 30% from 1995 to 2005. However, the tennis player figure gradually decreased from approximately a third in 1995 to just under 30% in 2005.
