The figures for people who visited the public library in order to borrow or return books and read newspapers or magazines tend to be fairly similar fell by 10% from 1991 to 2000. However, in 2000, the rate of British people studying at the public library dramatically dropped by 8% to 2%.
On the other hand, the percentage of British who obtained information in 2000 at the library was twice times as popular as that of those in 1991 and reached 20 %. At that time, there was a new category borrow or return videos in the chart which accounted for 18%.
