Overall, the EU was the leading producer of both milk and cheese, while India and China were the highest in butter and milk powder, respectively. In addition, milk was the most popular one among four products.
In the chart of milk production, the EU topped with 142,970 MT recorded. This was followed by India and the United States with 127,00 MT and 90,038 MT, respectively. Moreover, with cheese production, the EU continued to lead the chart with 7,120 MT regarded, which is higher than the United States’s products about 2,000 MT and seven times higher than what Brazil produced.
With 7,500 MT recorded, India was the highest producer of butter product, making a considerable distance with two left producers which are the EU with 2,040 MT and the United States with 810 MT. Milk powder was considerably lower than the other three products and the leading producers, China, New Zealand and the EU, having a small change between 7,70 MT to 1,200 MT.
