The charts below give information on the ages of people when they got married in one particular country in 1996 and 2008. Summarize the information by selecting and repairing the main features and make comparisons

The two bar charts compare the age group of men and women when getting married in a nation in two separated years 1996 an 2008. Overall, there was an decrease in the number of married individuals under 30 years old when compared with 1996. It is also clearly seen that the age from 25 to 29 is the most ideal for both male and female to start the family.

As presented in the chart, the percentage of both genders who got married in two age groups 16-19 and 20-14 in 2008 declined slightly compared with 1996. The age from 16-19 accounted for the smallest proportion with nearly 1% of female, in particularly, no men got married at under 20 years old. The total of people who married in 20-24 age group had down trend from 6% to 3% with female of both genders had tendency to embark the family in 25-29 age group.

In terms of older group, a substantial rise was witnessed in the proportion of 30-34 years old which made up 7% for females and 9% for males in 1996, in comparison with 8% and 11% appropriately. For people aged above 35, the proportion of married women fluctuated around 4% and 2% while the percentage of men was as twice as the women
